Economic & Trade and Management Department
General Introduction

 

  Economic and Trade Management Department is consisted of 5 Teaching and Research Sections: Management, Foreign Trade, Accounting, Tourism and Secretarial and 9 majors: International Trade, International Declarations and Freight, Business Secretary Legal Secretarial Computerized Accounting, Tourism Management, Hotel Management, Logistics Management and Property Management. There are more than 40 full-time and part-time teachers including 1 professor. The associate professors and teachers with secondary senior title totals 11. In faculty development, we always focus on introducing talent teachers and meanwhile cultivate young teachers from both research and teaching sides. Though several years’ efforts, the faculty structure has optimized all over and now teachers in our department are provided with rigorous scholarship, dedication and innovation


  The speciality of cultivating talents is to insist on combing learning and engineering, and dual-certificate education. A series of examination training centers are established in our department such as: National Foreign Economic and Trade Manager Professional Certification, Yongxin Accounting and so on. Students are able to acquire a certain vocational skills after examination training which highlights the characteristics of our school and cultivate application-typed talents with practical abilities and innovation thought.

  1. International Economy and Trade
  Training Objectives:
  We cultivate application-typed and skilled typed senior professional and technical talents who are all-around-developed in moral, intellectual, and physical aspects, employed in the field related to the International Economy and Trade major. To master basic knowledge and skills of international trade, we focus on cultivating their 5 important abilities: English language ability, the comprehensive ability of international trade, international marketing capacity and business management ability in order to help them to be employed in kinds of foreign economic and trade companies and foreign-funded enterprises. They can undertake actual business (declaration, foreign loan, export, documents, inspection and so on), grass-roots management and research. They are hoped to be trained as senior application-typed talents served at the front line in various companies with noble professional morality.

  2. Accounting Computerization
  Training Objectives:
  The aim of the major is to train the students who harbor social morals and professional ethics and have a good command of accounting operating skills and the application of accounting computerization . Moreover, students are required to be able to undertake the basic professional work related to accounting, auditing and economic management.

  Basic accountancy; intermediate accounting; advanced accounting; cost accounting; financial management; accounting computerization; auditing; management accounting; economic law; financial statement analysis; principles of management; accounting English; evaluation of assets;


  3. Tourism Management
  Training Objectives:
  The aim of the major is to train the high-level, application-oriented graduates who develop an all-round way, morally, intellectually and physically. Graduates possess the professional basic knowledge and practical skills. They are qualified for the jobs in travel agencies, hotels and other travel enterprises.
  Main Course:
  College English; basics of computer applications; western economics; tourism accounting; tourism etiquette; introduction to tourism; psychology of tourism; tourism law; economics of tourism; marketing of economics; college Chinese; tourist hotel management; tour guide business; management of tourist atractions; the tour geography; English of tourism; culture of tourism; the second language;


  4. Commercial Secretary
  Training Objectives:
  The aim of the major is to train the qualified, application-oriented, inter-disciplinary students who are able to be foreign affair related secretary and deal with national commercial affairs or other foreign economic and commercial affairs. Students are required to harbor social morals and professional ethics, have a good command of oral Chinese and practical writing, obtain the basic ability of listening, speaking, writing and translating in English, the fundamental knowledge of international trade and international law of trade as well. In addition, the ability of social intercourse and organization and management is necessary.

  Modern office automation; judicial document writing; secretarial course; contemporary Chinese; relationship of foreign public trade; administration; social etiquette; commercial English; course on price; management of labor force resource; stenography; advertising planning; market selling; practice of international trade; social intercourse and eloquence; organizational behavior; study of archives management and so on.


  5. Secretary of Law
  Training Objectives:
  The aim of the major is to train the application-oriented graduates who develop an all-round way, morally, intellectually and physically. Graduates possess the theory and knowledge of law and secretarial skills. Meanwhile, they know the basic knowledge of law, official secretary, documents writing and office automation.
  Main Course:
  College English; basics of computer applications; secretarial course; civil law; penal law; judicial document writing; nomology; public relations; modern office automation; litigation law; study of archives management; study of labor force resources; Putonghua; contract law; marketing; diploma in intellectual property law and practice; marriage and heritage law; labor law; administration and management; social etiquette.


  6. Logistics Management
  Training Objectives:
  To foster junior and senior intellectuals who are well developed morally, intellectuall and physically, have knowledge, qualification and ability in modern logistic management and system management, and could undertake the jobs industrial and commercial enterprises or logistics distribution center, and can plan, deploy and handle the logistic activities for the enterprises.
